The Howard Hughes Corp. will bring a fourth school to its Bridgeland master planned community in Cypress with the opening of a new elementary school for the 2022-23 school year.

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District purchased 16.7 acres off Tuckerton Road near Westgreen Road in Parkland Village from Bridgeland to build a two-story campus. The 125,000-square-foot school will accommodate 1,092 students. Texas-IBI Group is the architectural firm for the building, which will go out for proposals for construction once designs are completed.
Elementary School No. 57, which will be named once construction begins, will join Bridgeland High School, Pope Elementary and Wells Elementary in Bridgeland. Attendance boundaries will be determined in late 2021 or early 2022.
